A very sweet romantic rare Victorian locket of delightful heart shape
Beautifully hand made more than 100 years ago in the skilful crafting of the period
Dates 1900 ca

All solid 18 Kt rose gold topped with silver as in use at the time to house the diamonds
The front panel is totally enriched by sparkly rose cut diamonds of rather flat cut
They shiny throughout reflecting light in a glistening play from every hand cut facet
Each diamond is finely bordered by mill-points work
Diamonds vary in size to fit perfectly the heart shape
The front diamond's panes is hinged to the back which has been decorated by hand engraved floral motifs as much in vogue at the period
The top bail is still its original showing same crafting - silver over gold highlighted by tiny diamonds

It has been beautifully preserved along the ages and comes to you in excellent conditions
Inside has windows beautifully framed
