Here is a genuine early Victorian or Regency period ring dating 1820/1840 ca

It has been hand created in solid 18 Kt
Assay and maker punches inside the shank

It bear more than 150 years of back history!
Fashioned with a large boat shaped crown fully enriched by diamond setting made in the old Victorian manner with prong's tips in silver

The crown contains a composition of antique rose cut diamonds
Nine diamonds in total with larger set in the centre
Ranging in diameter from 2.30 mm. to 3.91 mm.
All diamonds are of primitive rose cut as in use at early times SO do not expect them to be perfect!
At the time there was very short supply of diamonds and what appears ugly today was in fact rare and precious at the time
Diamonds were merely polished and almost left as found
The ring boasts a large crown which sits rather flat on finger
It has gorgeous shoulders and is beautifully made throughout in the criteria and taste of the time
It is 100% original antique untouched conditions
Of course it has some wear but can be still be worn for a long time ahead
