This is a beautiful retro period 18 Kt yellow gold (marked) natural Ceylon sapphire and diamond ring
Dating 1940 ca

It is of traditional Cluster design with a centre natural sapphire of highly desirable cornflower colour
Great transparency - full of inner life - excellent clarity too as good sapphire should be
It is of old cushion cut
Measures 8.13 mm. x 6.46 mm.
This makes the focal point of the crown catching the attention in particular for the amaz9ing intensity of the colour
The sapphire is flanked by two cluster of diamonds in a square like composition on each side
There are 8 brilliant cut diamonds for an estimated TCW of approx .64 Ct

The crown has a net style and finest gems setting
Mounting has been all hand created with thicker shank and gorgeous gallery work

The ruing is in very good conditions throughout
Top of the rings measure 10 mm. x 16 mm.
