Here is a vintage ring of unusual design beautifully hand created as unique piece during the 40's
It is all done in solid 18 Kt warmish hue gold
The head is crowned by a huge deep inky blue natural -oversized!- sapphire

Estimated approx 5.26 Ct!

Catching the attention for the appealing combination of the diamonds in surround and the marquise cut blue sapphires opening like butterfly wings on sides
This truly creates an unusual imposing design and fabulous gems setting
It has a lifted up wire worked basket and strong shoulders
Overall is very well constructed as individual jewel
Slightly thin back shank that can be strengthened in case of re-size - if needed
