Here is a very beautiful antique wide measure fly brooch pendant dating 1940 ca

It has been all hand created from solid 18 Kt gold with portions of solid silver for the wings
It was made allowing the wear either as brooch or pendant just screwing in place the gold bail below the head

The brooch is very impressively made set with a large custom cushion cut natural citrine making the body of the fly
Very pleasing rich golden colour and of beautiful cut
Estimated approx 7.60 Ct (13.55 mm. x 10.59 mm.)
This makes charming colour contrast against the wide lifted up wings very beautifully hand pierced throughout and richly adorned by lots of natural champagne colour diamonds allowing plenty of warm natural sparkle all through
Its head is realistically done enriched by diamond's eyes so are the six legs

All fabulously looking real

The back has caged basket work and strong gold pin with C clasp fastener
The brooch wear with wings up

It is simply beautiful!

It contains approx 1.95 Ct in total of natural champagne diamonds
The citrine is estimated 7.60 Ct
