18KT FABULOUS SAPPHIRE & DIAMOND VICTORIAN RING

An attractive Victorian panel ring of eye catching wide oval shape
Set with a centre natural sapphire of pleasing navy blue colour exquisitely hand set inside a rub over mount with decorative details bordering the edge
There is a further surround of rose cu diamonds
Each nestled into a section of the scalloped edge with engraved details
The back of the ring has most gorgeous pierced work with leaf work on the shoulders - the shank is also decorated throughout

The sapphire has been estimated approx 1.19 Ct
The rose cut diamonds have an average diameter of 2.30 mm
14 diamonds in total

The ring has all been made in solid 18 Kt gold (marked inside the shank)
Diamonds are set in silver as used at the time
Dates 1900 ca
In very good conditions commensurate to the age
